THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA
Alpzview is perfectly situated at Tawonga (5km from Mt Beauty) in the picturesque Kiewa Valley and is the perfect location for outdoor activities and complete relaxation all year round. Mount Beauty and surrounding villages are great places to stay and partake in day trips to discover the North Eastern sections of the Alpine National Park, including Mount Bogong, Falls Creek and the Bogong High Plains with all of the fantastic walks and activities on offer including historic huts, snowgums and wildlife.
Snow Skiing
Falls Creek, Victoria’s largest alpine resort is located 30km from the Mount Beauty township.
Falls Creek is designed for all abilities, with snowboarding, cross country skiing, downhill skiing and snow parks.
Fishing Trout
Kiewa River as well as Mt Beauty Pondage, Lake Guy (Bogong Village) and Rocky Valley Dam (Falls Creek). A fishing license is required and the streams and rivers close during winter from Queens birthday weekend at the start of June to the first weekend in September.

With such a wide range of riding options, this part of the world is THE ideal holiday destination for avid road cyclists. Big Hill Mountain Bike Park, Survey Track, Mount Beauty Hill Loop and more are great mountain biking tracks.
Bush Walking
From flat sealed trails, great for prams, wheel chairs or an easy stroll, through to the step, rough tracks that climb to the top of Victoria's highest mountain, Mount Bogong.
